In July 2001, he took over, succeeding his father, Mariusz Walter, in the position of President of the management board and General Director of TVN, and remained in that position until August 2009. He is a member of the supervisory board of Onet.pl and ITI Neovision. He graduated from Columbia College in Chicago and the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne. He also studied at the University of Warsaw (Journalism) and at the Film School in Łódz (Film Directing).
