He has been CEO of DekaBank since 1 November 2012 and is a member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Sparkassen- und Giroverband e.V. and Bundesverband öffentlicher Banken Deutschlands e.V. In addition to numerous volunteer activities in the arts and culture and education (in particular as a member of the Board of Trustees of Goethe University Frankfurt and a member of the Board of Management and Executive Committee of Gesellschaft für Kapitalmarktforschung e.V.), Mr. Rüdiger is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Evonik Industries AG (and Chairman of the Finance and Investment Committee), Head of Frankfurt Stock Exchange Exchange Council and Member of the Börsensachverständigenkommission (Exchange Experts Commission Germany), and the Exchange Council of Eurex Deutschland.
