Prior to his corporate avatar, he spent 12 years with the Indian Armoured Corps as a Cavalry officer. During his tenure with the Indian army, he was Aide de Camp to the Governor of an Indian State and taught Strategy at the prestigious Armoured Corps Centre and School. He earned an MBA in Marketing from the Indian School of Business (ISB) in 2004 after completing a Bachelor of Science degree at the National Defence Academy in 1989.
