He served as President of the Caltech Alumni Association from 2012 to 2013, as a member of its Board of Directors from 2008 to 2014, and remains a lifetime member. He is Co-Founder of the Caltech Alumni Entrepreneurship Group in Silicon Valley, and is a faculty member for LaunchGurus' Venture Capital Academy for venture capitalists in Russia and Eastern Europe. He is also a member of the Churchill Club and the Northern California Harvard Business School Association.
