He is also on Singapore's International Energy Advisory Board and the Yale Center for Energy and Climate Advisory Board. In 2011, the Alliance to Save Energy honored him as the "Star of Energy Efficiency". Dr. Yergin received his B.A. from Yale University and his Ph.D. from Cambridge University, where he was a Marshall Scholar.
