He was subsequently elected a member of Delivery Hero's Global Leadership Council, which is responsible for setting the ultimate strategy for the Delivery Hero Group (market cap of 7.5 billion USD), and was thereafter appointed as Carriage's chairman. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering, completing coursework at both Virginia Tech and Tennessee Tech.
