Shimmer was born from a group of ADHD coaches, psychiatrists, doctors, and engineers to create a personalized, action-oriented playground for you and your coach to explore. We're not another list, calendar, or app: we're real human interactions paired with expert strategies, so that you can make real changes in your life. Come check us out! Our coaches collaborate with users to create and experiment with routines that fit their unique executive function challenges, supported by science-backed methods developed with NYU, UC Berkeley, and UCSF.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in San Francisco, CA and the company is based here as well.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We chose San Francisco because it's where we live and where we can access top talent in healthcare, technology, and coaching. Being here also helps us build our community and partnerships.
