We built Ollama to simplify working with large language models for developers and businesses. Our product allows people to run and manage LLMs locally or in their own infrastructure with minimal setup, letting users integrate powerful AI without depending on third-party cloud APIs. It's built to handle the complexity behind the scenes so users can focus on what they want the AI to do.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We currently live in Palo Alto, CA, and intend to base the company here after YC.

Palo Alto is where we live and work. It's close to the heart of the tech ecosystem and YC, so it makes sense to keep operations here during and after YC to stay connected and accessible to partners and users.
