What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built Hyrex, a task orchestration framework that uses PostgreSQL or our cloud service to handle asynchronous task queues. It lets developers define tasks in Python or TypeScript and offloads execution to a system designed for durability and scalability. Our focus is on tasks that are Controllable, Observable, Large-scale, and Durable - COLD tasks.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in San Francisco, CA, and the company is based here.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We are based in San Francisco because it puts us close to early users and a rich developer ecosystem. YC itself is here, so staying local makes sense for building connections and scaling.
