FREY products use formulations that are safer for the environment, and has created a Wash for Wash program, where for every bottle purchased, the clothing of someone in need, from the homeless to low-income families, is washed, as part of our philanthropy-focused mission.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We make premium laundry and clothing care products designed to smell better, treat clothes more gently, and be safer for people and the environment. Our product line breaks from traditional detergent norms, challenges outdated gendered marketing, and includes a philanthropic program that washes the clothes of people in need for every bottle sold.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in California, and the company would remain based in California after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

California has the right talent, resources, and market for consumer products like ours. It keeps us close to our initial user base and supply chain partners.
