We build programming courses that teach experienced engineers how to build their own core tools like Git, Redis, and SQLite in popular languages like Go, Rust, and Python. Our product guides users step-by-step to deepen their understanding by reconstructing these fundamental tools from scratch.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in San Francisco and have a remote team. After YC, the company will stay based in San Francisco with a distributed team.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco has the technical and hiring ecosystem we need. Being remote lets us tap talent globally while maintaining access to YC and local investors.
