Better Opinions is a prediction market of India which allows users to trade their opinion on everyday topics. For example, If you think India Covid cases will decrease by 10% this week, you can trade this insight and win money if correct. Our aim is to make the app inclusive for all. The stock market unfortunately can be very technical and opaque and therefore isn’t always accessible for all. However, when we start allowing trading in categories such as cricket, politics and entertainment, not only do we make trading more relatable, but we also help improve their financial literacy.

Better Opinions is a prediction market platform for India where users trade opinions on everyday topics like cricket, politics, or COVID trends and can win money if their predictions are right. It's designed to make opinion trading accessible and relatable, unlike traditional stock markets which are complex.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Bengaluru, Gurugram, and work remotely; after YC, we plan to continue being based in India with a distributed team.

Explain your decision regarding location.

India is our market and most users are here. We are based in Bengaluru and Gurugram, which lets us tap into talent and also stay close to our users.
