What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We build software that digitizes procuring homeowners insurance, which is required to close mortgages. Our product integrates with mortgage lenders' core systems and powers digital portals where borrowers can get insurance quotes from all leading carriers. It transforms a week-long, manual process into something close to immediate and straightforward for both borrowers and lenders.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in New York, NY and would be based in New York after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We built Zinc in New York because that's where we understand the mortgage and insurance markets best, and we're surrounded by our early customers and partners here.
