What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We are building Supermedium, a VR platform for people to read books and comics, watch videos, view art, browse the Web, send messages, and access social media. Our product creates a comfortable, focused virtual environment where users can have larger and more flexible screens in VR, even while lying down, replacing traditional flat screens with a more immersive experience.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work in San Francisco, CA. The company would remain based here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco is where we're building the product because it's where VR developers, early adopters, and hardware advances are concentrated. Being here lets us stay close to emerging technology and user feedback.
