Storyworth is a service that makes it easy for families to record their stories. Each week they email their customers a question about their life, for example "What do you remember of your grandmother?". Their customers reply by email, and the stories are saved and shared privately with their family. At the end of a year, their stories are bound in a beautiful keepsake book.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built a service where families get weekly emailed questions about their lives, reply by email with stories, and then we save those stories privately for the family. After a year, we print them in a keepsake book. It's a simple, email-based storytelling platform for preserving family memories.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Kailua, HI and Stockholm, Sweden, with part of the team remote. After YC, we'd likely base the company wherever it's best to grow, probably Silicon Valley or remote depending on opportunities.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We started distributed between the US and Sweden because that's where we live. YC's network offers the best chance to scale, so relocating or working remotely while connected to YC's resources makes sense.
