Long-distance carpooling marketplace

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built a marketplace where people going on long trips can list extra seats in their cars and others looking for a ride can find and book those seats. It's a community-driven platform aimed at making long-distance car travel easier and more affordable by connecting drivers and riders with compatible routes and schedules.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work in San Francisco, and the company is based here.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco is where our team lives and where the user base is concentrated for early traction in tech and transportation services. Being here helps us quickly iterate with users and develop the product in a market open to sharing economy services.
