Polymath is building a general autonomy stack for cautious vehicles. Our software allows any industrial vehicle - whether it's a tractor in a field or a bulldozer in a mine, drive itself. We bundle together AI, ML, Controls, ROS, Safety and best-in-class deployment practices to enable our customers to tell automated vehicles to do via a REST API. We're on more robots than we have engineers, are seeing our revenue (and robotic fleet) grow rapidly, and are looking for folks who want to help automate the world.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We build a software stack that enables any industrial vehicle - like tractors or bulldozers - to drive itself. Our product combines AI, machine learning, controls, ROS, and safety to let customers automate these vehicles through a simple REST API.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We're based in San Francisco, and the company would remain here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco is where our team lives and where we have access to robotics talent and industrial partners. It's also the best place to recruit engineers skilled in AI and robotics software.
