Outship is a recruiting tool that captures how engineering candidates use AI throughout their coding process. Candidates code in a cloud workspace we provide, where we manage environment setup and secrets. We record not just the final code, but how candidates break down tasks, steer AI agents, and recover from errors. This process insight helps hiring teams identify extraordinary engineers beyond just the finished product.

We live in San Francisco, CA, and plan to base the company there after YC.

We live in San Francisco, the hub for both tech talent and AI innovation, which makes it easier for us to connect with users, recruits, and investors.
