We design resistance genes for crops using protein engineering to create plants that can withstand pests and pathogens. Our technology aims to make disease resistance durable against evolving pathogens, reducing reliance on agrochemicals.

We live in San Francisco, CA, and plan to base the company here after YC as well.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco is where we are based now and is where the biotech and synthetic biology ecosystem is strongest, making it the best place for us to grow.
