What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

Mixwit combines the simplicity of Slide with the appeal of iTunes by letting users create and share mixtapes easily. It pulls in songs found through MP3 search engines like Seeqpod and Skreamr to let people assemble playlists they can share with friends.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in San Francisco, CA, and plan to keep the company based here after YC.

San Francisco is where we live and where the tech community we want to work with is concentrated. Being here helps us move fast and stay close to early users and partners.
