What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built Fam as a group video calling app where you can chat with your existing friends and also meet new people through social video calls. It's not just one-on-one video; it's designed for casual group conversations that feel spontaneous and friendly. Our target users want a social place that combines video and discovery to connect live, not by text or static posts.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in New York, NY, and plan to base the company here after YC as well.

Explain your decision regarding location.

New York is where our team and early users are located. We want to stay close to the social scene and tech talent here while growing the product.
