Brave Care is a group of kid-only primary & urgent care clinics that create a comfortable environment for little ones and reduce the stress and cost of emergency medicine for parents. We are 1/10th the cost of an ER trip and most often a visit can be completed in 1/4th the time. Common treatments: Pinkeye / Allergies / Tummy Bugs / Stitches / Broken Bones / Head Bumps / Sore Throats / Coughs / Fevers. Our digital services leverage our in-clinic medical professionals to reach across the country.

Modern healthcare for kids. Pediatric Primary, Urgent & Remote Care.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We run pediatric primary and urgent care clinics focused exclusively on kids. Our clinics provide fast, affordable treatment for common childhood illnesses and injuries. We also offer telehealth visits staffed by our own medical professionals, so parents can get care for their children remotely. The goal is to reduce ER visits by providing more convenient care at a fraction of the cost and wait time.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Portland, OR, and after YC our company would be based here.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We built our early clinics and product here because Portland has a strong community and the healthcare environment that lets us move fast. Staying here after YC lets us keep building on this foundation rather than relocating and losing local momentum.
