We build Better Auth, an authentication framework for TypeScript that lets developers implement auth flows directly on their own databases within their backend. It supports everything from simple login to enterprise-grade systems. On top of that, we offer infrastructure features like user management, analytics, bot and fraud detection, transactional email and SMS, and global session storage to help scale securely.

We live in San Francisco, CA, and our company is based here.

We are based in San Francisco because that is where the team lives and it is the center of our developer and startup ecosystem, which keeps us connected to users and partners.
