We built Assembly, an AI-powered platform for professional service firms. It gives firms a branded client portal that centralizes tasks, payments, messages, files, contracts, and forms. On the back end, it provides a simple CRM and an AI Assistant that understands full client context. This lets teams onboard clients faster, automate back-office work, and improve retention. Users can extend the platform with embeds, Zapier/Make integrations, webhooks, and our public API or build Custom Apps tailored to their workflow.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We're based in New York, NY and would remain here after YC.

New York is where our initial customers and team are. Staying put lets us stay close to users and grow the product with direct feedback from professional service firms.
