Almond is like One Medical but for women’s health: we make it easy to get great ObGyn care fast, both at our in-person offices and over telehealth. The problem with traditional ObGyn practices is that physician time is misused, so patients get slow care. We're rebuilding back-office tech that saves physicians time, and we're hiring a wider range of care providers roles, which let us deliver better outcomes to patients and reduce the amount of time it takes to get their issue resolved.

Easy access to ObGyn care in-person and telehealth

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built a women's health service focused on ObGyn care that combines in-person visits at our clinics with telehealth. We solve the problem of slow, inefficient ObGyn care by rebuilding back-office software that lets providers spend more time on patients. We also hire a wider range of care roles to deliver faster diagnosis and treatment to our patients.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Los Angeles, CA, and the company is based there.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We started and operate in LA because it's a large market with demand for better women's health care and access to a wide range of providers. Being local helps us deliver in-person service and refine our telehealth offering.
