We built Waydev to track AI-written code from commit through production. It captures who wrote the code, cost per PR, token usage, AI model performance, and deployment acceptance rates. This helps CTOs and VPs of Engineering understand AI adoption, compare tools like Copilot and Claude Code, and measure actual return on AI coding investments.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work in Menlo Park, CA, and plan to keep Waydev based here after YC.

Menlo Park puts us in Silicon Valley, close to potential customers and engineers who use AI coding tools. Being local helps build credibility and access to early users.
