Help African farmers access finance and markets

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built a marketplace that connects rural farmers in Africa with buyers locally and internationally. We provide farmers with loans to buy inputs and extension services that give them better insights on how to grow their crops. This solves the problem of finance, information, and reliable market access for farmers who typically operate in fragmented, informal markets.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and operate in Abuja, Nigeria, and the company will remain based there after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Our users and the core of our business are in Nigeria. Being in Abuja puts us close to both the farmers we serve and local partners. It also gives us access to the growing agricultural sector and finance ecosystem here.
