What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built a mobile platform that connects small-town Indian users with local news, practical information, and classifieds that matter to them. The app delivers hyperlocal content focused on towns often ignored by bigger media, helping people find jobs, buy and sell goods, and stay informed about their own communities.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and Lokal is based here too. We would continue here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Bengaluru is India's tech hub with access to engineering talent and infrastructure while still allowing us to focus on building for small towns. We can reach our key users remotely, but building the product where engineers and investors are clustered helps.
