We build open source version control tooling for metadata. Grai lets data engineers and platform teams track how changes in databases affect machine learning models, APIs, and dashboards by mapping data dependencies across disconnected systems. This means teams can manage metadata like code and understand impact before deploys.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

Our team is spread across San Francisco, London, and St. Louis, and we would base the company in San Francisco after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We chose these locations based on where the founders live and work. Post-YC, San Francisco is best to access YC resources, investors, and customers in data infrastructure.
