We build Double, a telepresence robot that pairs an iPad video call with a mobile base so remote workers can move around their office freely. It gives telecommuters a physical presence at work without the hassle of scheduling static video meetings.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Burlingame, California and plan to base the company there after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Burlingame puts us near Silicon Valley resources and close to customers in tech and enterprise who want telepresence solutions. Staying local helps us grow organically and iterate quickly with early users.
