Today Cyberfend protects nearly a billion login and payment transactions every month for many large e-commerce, web and payment customers. What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We are building a security solution that protects consumer-facing web and mobile applications from sophisticated attacks like account take-overs, payment fraud, and stolen credential use. Our product combines human cognitive science with machine learning to detect fraud with near-zero false positives and negatives. It runs in the cloud and supports web and mobile platforms, handling enormous scale for many large e-commerce and payment customers.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Santa Clara, CA, and would base the company here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We are based in Santa Clara because we are close to many of our customers and partners in the Bay Area, and it's where we have the right talent and infrastructure for building our cloud security platform.
