We are building Char, a daily notepad that automatically finishes your todos. When you type a checkbox, an AI agent takes over to research, draft, or schedule the task so you don't have to do it yourself. You stay in command, letting Char handle busywork that slows down productive people.
We live in San Francisco, and the company will be based there after YC.
We chose San Francisco because it's the hub for AI and productivity startups, and being here puts us close to engineers, investors, and potential customers. It also makes recruiting talent easier for a young startup like ours.
