Kyle and Jacob are creators of SwiftUI, Apple's UI framework for building modern iOS apps, and led its development for the past 10 years. We built bitrig, a vibe coding environment that lets developers write native Swift code, test it, and deploy apps entirely from their iPhone. It's for mobile developers who want to move fast without needing a Mac or complicated toolchains.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in San Francisco and the company is based here too.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco is where we all are, in the center of iOS development. It puts us close to our users and the broader Apple ecosystem.
