At Brighterway, we use AI to speed up the medical record review process in the Workers' Compensation Industry. Physicians and claims handlers spend hours reviewing thousands of pages of medical documents - our technology highlights the information that is most relevant to a doctor's specialty or a given injury, streamlining their review process and saving them time. Brighterway structures and deduplicates disorganized medical records (PDFs) and extracts the content that is medically relevant and related to a given claim, so they can focus on what matters most.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We build an AI-powered platform that processes thousands of pages of disorganized medical records in PDF form and extracts the most relevant medical information related to a specific workers' compensation claim. Our product highlights exactly what a physician or claims handler needs to review based on the doctor's specialty or injury type, cutting review times drastically.

We live in San Francisco, and the company will remain based here after YC.

San Francisco is where the entire team lives and where healthcare and AI talent are concentrated. Staying here keeps us close to our team, early healthcare customers, and investors.
