We built an app and platform that connects bilingual volunteers with refugees and immigrants who need language help with doctors, lawyers, and aid workers. Users can request help via chat, phone, or video calls and get human translators in real-time. We built it to break down communication barriers that leave millions stranded without access to critical services.
We live in Mountain View with remote team members, and we would base the company in Mountain View or remain remote after YC.
Mountain View is where our core team is located and where we have access to strong technical and nonprofit networks. Being local helps us coordinate tightly during YC and stay connected to Silicon Valley resources.
