What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We build Stepful, an online training platform that teaches people with a high school education healthcare skills in four months. Our product combines tailored coursework and hands-on practice to prepare learners for jobs like medical assistant and phlebotomist, then helps place them into those roles.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in New York, NY, and Stepful is based there now. We would remain based in New York after YC.

We chose New York because it is a major healthcare employment hub and has a large population that fits our learner profile. Being here helps us connect directly with both students and employers in our core market.
