We built Scott AI, a planning workspace where engineering teams align on what to build before their coding agents start writing code. It solves a common problem where multiple engineers disagree on goals, even when coding agents speed up code production. Our product helps teams settle on a concrete plan so agents build exactly what the team needs.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and are based in New York City, NY. The company will remain in NYC after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We chose to base the company in New York because that's where we already live and built the first version of Scott AI. Our network and initial users are here, and the remote YC setup means we can keep operating from NYC.
