Now part of the WeddingWire Network, Project Wedding strives to make wedding planning easier, less stressful, and more fun! Over 1 million brides come to Project Wedding monthly to interact with our supportive community and to read our curated editorial content. We know that today's weddings are all about showing off personal style with creative elements, gorgeous color palettes, and unique details. We also know that the contemporary bride is incredibly busy and wants to take care of all of her wedding planning needs in one spot. Enter Project Wedding!

We built a wedding planning site that helps brides find local vendors, plan their weddings, and connect with a community of other brides. It's a single place to handle the often frustrating and time-consuming task of organizing vendors, ideas, and details.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We are based in Los Angeles, CA and Bethesda, MD. After YC, the company would likely continue with a distributed setup, possibly centered around one of these hubs.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We have teams in LA and Bethesda for diverse talent and coverage of major wedding markets. Keeping flexible locations lets us stay close to key wedding communities and our users.
