JumpWire’s approach to securing data in-place minimizes the risk of data leaks exposing sensitive information or mishandling by other applications and vendors. The exact security scheme applied to data is defined by policies that align with an organization’s existing InfoSec program. JumpWire helps companies who maintain information security with compliance programs such as SOC or HIPAA. They are processing sensitive data, often from their own customers, and exceed security best practices as a competitive advantage. JumpWire provides defense at depth to data and sits alongside access controls and Layer 4 encryption to provide a comprehensive data security solution. JumpWire is unique from solutions such as data vaults by installing inside our customers’ own infrastructure and clouds. We built a data protection platform that sits between applications and databases to enforce fine-grained access controls on sensitive data properties. It automatically finds sensitive fields and lets developers restrict who can see or modify them, based on policies aligned with security programs like SOC or HIPAA. This runs inside customers' own clouds and infrastructure, avoiding costly migrations or rewrites.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in New York and are fully remote. After YC we plan to remain remote but officially based in New York, NY.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Being remote with a base in New York lets us hire broadly and stay connected to a major business hub and security industry customers without relocating the whole team.
