What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We are building an enzymatic DNA synthesis platform that replaces the chemical methods labs use today. Our product synthesizes DNA faster, with fewer errors and less waste than traditional phosphoramidite chemistry. This allows researchers and biotech companies to develop new therapeutics, diagnostics, and biological products more quickly and cheaply.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work in Emeryville, CA, and the company is based here. After YC, we plan to remain in Emeryville because of the strong biotech community and lab infrastructure.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Emeryville gives us access to specialized biotech facilities, vendors, and talent we need to develop our enzyme-driven approach. Relocation is not necessary since this area is ideal for industrial biotech startups like ours.
