What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We make computer science courses specifically for tweens and teens. Our product offers over three hundred self-guided coding tutorials where students learn web development fundamentals by building creative projects like video filters, simulations, and augmented reality. The goal is to teach programming fundamentals through project-based learning that appeals to young people, especially girls and underrepresented minorities.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in San Francisco, CA, and would keep the company based there after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco has a strong tech community and access to talent, which helps us build and grow Vidcode. Being here keeps us close to users, partners, and investors.
