What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We build tiny AI models that run locally on devices like smartphones and wearables. Our first open source model, KittenTTS, is a text-to-speech engine small enough to run offline with low latency. This lets hardware manufacturers and developers add AI features without needing cloud resources or expensive chips.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We're currently based in San Francisco, CA, and plan to keep the company headquartered here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco is where both of us live and where most AI and hardware companies operate. The ecosystem, talent, and potential partners/customers are concentrated here, making it the natural place to build Stellon Labs.
