Surgical robotics for every operating room
We are building the world's only surgical robot designed to fit into every operating room. Our robot is simple but powerful enough to perform the over one million abdominal surgeries done outside hospitals in the US each year, a segment not served by existing surgical robots. It brings robotic surgery to community hospitals and surgery centers where current systems don't work.
We live in Toronto, Canada, and plan to keep the company based here after YC.
Toronto has deep engineering talent and a good ecosystem for hardware and medical devices. We have built the company here from the start with no plans to relocate.
