Omnisio enabled users to annotate and share videos from any website, and enabled markup of the structure within a video. On May 13, 2008, Omnisio launched a slide-syncing tool using SlideShare for slides and a host of video services.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built a tool that lets users annotate, share, and structure videos from any website. Our product allows users to add time-synced annotations and interact with video content in ways that make it easier to navigate and share online video. We also launched a slide-syncing tool that syncs SlideShare presentations with videos from multiple services.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Atherton, CA and plan to base the company there after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We want to stay where we live and have access to Silicon Valley resources and networks. Being close to other tech companies and investors matters for recruiting, partnerships, and funding.
