What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We're building a digital bank specifically for teenagers in India. Akudo issues personalized prepaid cards that teens can use independently, combined with tools that help them save money and learn personal finance through rewards and gamification. It's banking designed to teach teens financial responsibility as they use real money.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and plan to keep the company based here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Bengaluru is India's top fintech hub with access to talent and partners. We're building for Indian teenagers, so it makes sense to be close to our users and local banking infrastructure.
