UpCodes is a searchable, centralized library of over 6,000 state and city building codes. It uses NLP to parse complex code adoptions and connects those regulations directly to specifications and a product library. Our platform helps architects, engineers, and construction professionals easily navigate compliance and allows manufacturers to showcase compliant products within the same workflow.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Austin, Texas, and the company is based here with a hybrid remote setup. After YC, we plan to keep Austin as our primary base.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Austin has a growing tech scene and affordable costs while still being close to key construction markets. We can hire talent here and maintain close contact with our core users in the U.S. construction industry.
