We built Stable as a virtual business address and mailroom service designed for startups. It gives companies one permanent address for all their official mail and documents. Beyond just receiving mail, Stable guides users through switching their business address compliantly with the IRS, states, banks, and payroll providers. Users can open, view, forward, or shred their mail securely online, all without physically going to a mailroom. We also integrate with tools like Slack and Dropbox, and provide encrypted storage and OCR to modernize mail management for remote teams.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work in New York City, and Stable will continue to be based here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

New York City is where our team and early customers are located. It's a hub for startups and remote-first companies that need our product. We want to stay close to our users and the business ecosystems that rely on stable, compliant virtual addresses.
