We build high-altitude balloons equipped with sensors that continuously collect atmospheric data. Our system feeds this data directly into weather models, giving meteorologists more precise, real-time information on extreme weather events across the US and Central America. The key is persistent, airborne sensing that delivers 1000x more data than existing platforms.
We live in San Francisco, CA, and the company will be based here after YC.
San Francisco has the engineering talent and startup ecosystem we need to scale our hardware and AI platform quickly. It's also where all three founders currently live and work.
