We built Socialcam, a mobile app for iPhone and Android that makes it straightforward to capture, upload, and share videos with your social network. It handles capturing high-quality clips, auto-uploads to the cloud, and smooth sharing so people don't have to deal with complicated video transfers or editing tools.
We live in San Francisco, and the company will remain based there after YC.
San Francisco is where we built the product and where we have our resources and connections; staying here keeps us close to our users and the tech ecosystem we depend on.
