We built RunKit notebooks to let developers prototype server-side JavaScript with zero setup. One click opens a sandboxed environment where you can switch Node versions instantly and use any npm module without installing them. It's for engineers and product teams who want to try ideas fast without fighting with local environment setup or installs.

We live and work in San Francisco, CA, and the company would be based here after YC.

San Francisco has the talent and user base we need. We already live here, and it's central to engineering communities we target.
